What’s to come:

So a new development has been made at Jarvis and the archives and museum will be moving to a larger room within the library.  The next month will be spent determining what needs to be done and determining what we can do with the money we have available to us (just under $4000).  Now that we have a larger space we’ll need your support to make the bigger and better archive and museum happen.  If you’d like to donate, please visit our donations tab to find out how.  Any donation is greatly appreciated.

Alumni Outreach:

Miaomiao Yu (Class of 1997) is raising funds on Kickstarter to produce a debut CD.  You can find out more info at the following link:

Miaomiao’s a very talented pianist based out of London, UK.  Here’s an excerpt from her site on the project:

“The idea for Bach to Baby started soon after I had my first son Mercutio. I was frustrated at not being able to take him to the sort of quality classical music concerts that I was used to attending, so I decided to run a one-off concert in a local church. I was blown away by the the support from the mums in my neighbourhood, and it gave me the confidence and determination to bring the experience to a wider audience.

Three years later, Bach to Baby has grown into a concert series with performances across London and the South East. Rain or shine, our audiences come from far and wide to attend our concerts, and they often ask, “when are you going to make a CD for us to take home?”

Well, now I’m taking the plunge, and I hope you can help me make the CD a reality!”
