The Magnet Newsletter: January 2016 Edition

Hi Everyone!

Hope that you’re all doing well.  So new to the site is YouTube Videos!  If you’ve subscribed to the Photo of the Month Newsletter, you’ve already been given the first chance to view the videos (along with Facebook and Twitter followers).   Right now we have 6 videos posted online from 16mm film that was digitally converted.  The videos seem to span from the 1920s to the 1960s.  If anyone can identify anyone or anything in the videos it would be much appreciated.

What’s new on the site:

January 2016 Photos/Videos of the Month

What’s to come:

Frank has been to the school and has managed to scan the first 55 pages of the 1966 yearbook.  He pointed out to me that this is the 50th anniversary of the class of 1966, so we hope to get it posted in the next month or so.  Now that we have a YouTube channel, we’ll be posting videos to the site.  Please bare with the advertising as it is our sole source of funding at this time.  We hope that as we post more videos for you to enjoy that we’ll be able to generate some much needed funds to carry on our work.  Also I hope to start scanning the 1968 yearbook, but we’ll see how posting everything else balances out with the scanning task.

Thank you for your continued support.

Regards,

David.
