The Magnet Newsletter – October 2019 Edition

Hi Everyone,

Sorry for the gap in newsletters.  September I was away on our family vacation.  We headed up to the Yukon for a few days to Whitehorse and Kluane National Park before spending some time in Vancouver and Victoria before heading back home.  As such, I haven’t had time to post anything new on the site since August.  That being said there is some new content since the last newsletter.

What’s new on the site:

Jarvis School Song Recording

Videos from Girls Athletics at JCI

Pictures from the Bicentennial by Anthony Cheung

What’s to come:

As the weather turns colder, I’ll get back to scanning yearbooks.  I plan to go to the school on Remembrance Day, so if you’re interested in volunteering, I should be in the archives during the morning on November 11th, so feel free to pass by and check it out.

If you’ve donated to the scholarship fund, thank you very much.  I plan to get an update on it when I visit the school next.  If you haven’t already donated, please help out.  You can find more info on how to donate on our donations page.

Thank you for your support.

David
