What's Cooking
Have you ever heard a Jarvisite say “Crap, my stomach is grumbling, better get some food into it”? Ever hear them complain when their three dollar meal from McDonalds or the cafeteria is not pleasing enough to their taste buds? Have you ever stopped to think of the long term health effects of the ‘quick fix’ of fast, fatty food?
Sudoku-Mania
Complicated Sudoku puzzles require sophisticated deductive techniques that sound like combos in video games (Naked Pairs, X-wing, and Swordfish just to name a few) and even inductive methods such as trial-and-error.
Are you on the grind?
It is the second most traded commodity in the world, surpassed only by crude oil. According to a study in 2004 by CTV, almost two-thirds of Canadians consume it, and on average Canadians are consuming 4.5 cups of it a day. I have worked at my family’s business which specializes in it since the age of about eight. Cola? Chocolate? Beer? Nope, it’s coffee, and almost 63% of Jarvis students who took part in a recent survey are drinking it.
Harm Reduction
Some people treat their bodies like temples. These individuals exercise regularly, fill their minds with wonderful facts and eat only the finest organically grown pomegranates.
